Smarter Hospitals.
Connected Healthcare.

HealthcareVedas brings inventory analytics, operational calculators, SOPs, records and an expert network into a single platform — so hospital teams spend less time assembling spreadsheets and more time acting on what the numbers say.

  • Works with the Excel exports you already produce
  • Role-based access and audit trails by design
  • Built around Indian hospital and pharmacy workflows

The platform

Nine modules, one connected workspace

Each module solves a problem a hospital team already has, and shares the same records, roles and audit trail as the rest. Start with one; the others are waiting when you need them.

Inventory Intelligence

Three classifications and an expiry view, from one upload

The frameworks every pharmacy diploma teaches, applied to the export your store already generates each month. No integration project, no data entry.

Which items deserve tight purchasing control?

Where the money actually sits

ABC ranks every line item by annual consumption value. A small group of items usually accounts for most of the spend — those are the ones worth negotiating, forecasting and counting often. The long tail can be managed with far lighter controls.

What you get

A ranked purchase-attention list, exportable for the purchase committee.

  • 1Class AHigh value, tight control~70% of value
  • 2Class BModerate value, periodic review~20% of value
  • 3Class CLow value, simple reorder rules~10% of value

Hospital Calculators

Try the arithmetic that capacity meetings run on

This is a working preview of one calculator from the module. Change the inputs and the outputs move — same formulas, stated plainly, no spreadsheet to maintain.

Bed occupancy rate
Inpatient days ÷ (available beds × days in period) × 100
Average length of stay
Inpatient days ÷ discharges including deaths
Bed turnover

How it works

Three steps, no implementation project

The platform is designed so a department head can get a useful answer on the first afternoon, without waiting for an IT integration.

  1. 1

Bring the sheet you already have

Upload the stock, consumption or census export your HMIS produces. Column mapping is guided, so a slightly different format is not a blocker.

Supported today: .xlsx and .csv exports

  2. 2

Get the analysis in one pass

Classifications, expiry buckets, ratios and dashboards are generated together, with the formula behind every figure visible on screen.

    ABC · VED · FSN · expiry · occupancy · ALOS

  3. 3

    Act, record and move on

Export the worklist for a purchase committee, attach it to an SOP revision, or log the action in the records register so the next audit finds it.

Exports to Excel and PDF, with an audit trail

Who it is for

Built for the people who keep a hospital running

Different roles, different screens, the same underlying records. Everyone works from one version of the numbers instead of four forwarded spreadsheets.

  • Hospital administrators

Today: Capacity and cost questions arrive faster than the reports do.

With HealthcareVedas: Occupancy, ALOS and workload figures on demand, with the assumptions visible to everyone in the room.

  • Pharmacy and stores

Today: Expiry write-offs and dead stock surface only at month-end.

With HealthcareVedas: A weekly worklist of what to consume, transfer or return — ranked by the value actually at risk.

  • Quality teams and consultants

Today: Accreditation evidence is reassembled from scratch every cycle.

With HealthcareVedas: SOPs, CAPA actions and training registers maintained continuously, so preparation is a filter rather than a hunt.

  • Procurement and finance

Today: Purchase decisions rest on last year's habits, not this year's data.

With HealthcareVedas: Value-ranked purchasing attention and documented reorder logic that survives scrutiny.

Security posture

How we intend to handle your data

HealthcareVedas is pre-launch, so these are design commitments rather than audit results. We would rather state them plainly now and be held to them than claim certifications we do not hold.

  • Role-based access

Pharmacy, quality, administration and consultant roles see only the records their role requires.

  • Encryption in transit and at rest

Managed Postgres with TLS throughout, so uploads are never handled over plain HTTP.

  • Audit trail on every change

Who changed what, when, and the previous value — retained for the configured period.

  • No patient-identifiable data

The platform is built for operational and inventory records. Clinical identifiers are out of scope by design.

  • Credentials in environment config

No keys in the codebase; every secret is supplied through environment variables per deployment.

  • Your export, your data

Uploads stay tied to your organisation, and exports are available in open formats at any time.

Straight answers about where this stands

Something not covered here? Ask us directly.

Not yet as a self-service product. Four modules are in active build and we are working with a small number of hospitals, pharmacies and consultants during that period. Request early access and we will tell you honestly where the module you care about stands.
